"Bill Smart's Tree" 7" x 9" Arches 140 lb cold pressed while Plein Aire painting at the golf club I was attracted by this maple and made the small sketch. Bill has died and the tree lives on as a memorial to a favorite employee and boss. M.E. Whitehill |

"Tis the Season" 8x10 Arches 140#CP - Daniel Smith Watercolors Can you tell I'm in the midst of painting images for Christmas cards? Each year I paint close to 3 dozen different card ideas for my Christmas Card classes. For this one, I was teaching methods for using masking fluid so I did use masking fluid for the snow on the branches of the fir tree. Thanks for looking...Susie Susie Short |
